Streaming is the transmission of real-time video from a server to your
computer where it is processed as the signal is received.
Downloaded data is different, it is played after your computer has
received the data in full.
Streaming lets you view the content immediately after a short buffering
period (5-20 seconds). The buffering eleminates congestion so that the
video signal is uninterupted. Please be patient as the buffering takes
a little time!
Streaming can also be on demand which has been pre-recorded. Streaming
Video generally includes Video and Audio. Streaming Audio requires a
lower bandwith and has been perfected while Video requires more signal
strength, however technology is coming with new discoveries all the time -
